Sukanya Run 2020
Nurturing the power within
The Bidhannagar Police took up a new initiative and launched a marathon stressing on the need of safety and empowerment of women. By hosting the event, the police force sent across the message to citizens that Kolkata and its fringes are safe for women. After a series of rape cases in different states rocked the country and angry protesters across Bengal marched against the atrocities perpetrated against women, a brain-storming session was instituted within the force. The marathon was the outcome of a series of ideas discussed by the police personnel. Sukanya Run marathon took place on the 16th of February from 5:00 am with the aim of creating awareness on the growing need of making every corner of the city safe and accessible to women even during the wee hours of the night.
Categories of the race-
3Km, 5Km, 10Km and, 21Km
Bib Design requirements :
1. The size of the BIB will be around 8.5" (length) x 5.75"(width).
2. Create a space for Section A/B/C/D on the Bib.
3. Bib will have a personalized name so leave the space accordingly.
4. Make the BIB NO. LARGE and BIG in the Middle.
